Apple cake


Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 125g sugar
  • 20g vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 75ml milk
  • 85g flour
  • 3g dry yeast
  • 3 apples
  • Sugar with cinnamon to sprakle


Directions:

  1. Grease and flour a round mold.
  2. Beat the egg, sugar, oil, vanilla and cinnamon until a creamy texture.
  3. Mix flour with dry yeast and sift it.
  4. Add this mixture and milk to the cream.
  5. Stir until a homogeneous mixture.
  6. Pour into the mold.
  7. Let stand a few minutes (the result will be more fluffy). While the oven is preheated to 180 ° C.
  8. Peel apples, cut into half moon, take away the court.
  9. Place them on top of the dough around.
  10. Sprankle with sugar and cinnamon.
  11. Bake 40 minutes, until it's golden brown.

Baked apples


Ingredients:


  • 6 reinette apples
  • 100g sugar
  • 150g raisins
  • 100g of butter
  • 125ml water




Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 ° C.
  2. Wash the apples and scoop out their cores from top of the apples.
  3. Give a horizontal cut in the center and around the apple with a sharp knife, without elaborating, only the skin. This is necessary before grilling to prevent bursting and spoil the presentation.
  4. Mix raisins with sugar.
  5. Grease a baking dish with a little butter and place the apples.
  6. Fill in the gaps of hearts with the mixture of raisins to overflowing.
  7. Add in 125ml water in a bowl on the baking dish.
  8. Sprinkle apples with the remaining butter in small portions.
  9. Introduce them in the oven for 40-55 minutes, depending on the size of apples.
  10. Serve hot or slightly warm.

Apple, carrot and lime smoothie


Ingredients:
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 large carrot 
  • 1/2 large green apple 
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water
  • Juice from ½ a lime
    Directions:
    1. Chop the carrot.
    2. Remove the core and dice the apple into chunks.
    3. Add all the ingredients to the blender.
    4. Blend all the ingredients until the mixture becomes smooth (around 1-2 minutes).
    5. Once the smoothie is ready, pour it into a glass and drink it right away. 
    6. Alternatively, if you want to drink it later in the day, pour the smoothie into a sealable flasks, then place in the refrigerator.

    Partridge in cider


    Ingredients:

    • 4 partridges
    • 4 bacon slide
    • 2 onions
    • 2 apples
    • Almonds
    • 280ml dry cider
    • 280ml chicken stock
    • thyme
    • oregano
    • pepper
    • olive oil
    • Salt

    Sauce:

    • 1 big onion
    • Thyme
    • 150ml cognac
    • 4 celery
    • 2 tablespoon of olive oil
    • bay leaf
    • Pepper

    (serve 4)

    Directions:

    1. Clean the partridges and put them on deep baking dish.
    2. In a bowl make the sauce, chopped big onion, thyme, cognac, chopped celery, olive oil, bay leaf and pepper.
    3. Then around 4 hours bathing the partridges with that sauces.
    4. Put a large casserole dish on the heat, and add the diced bacon and the partridges and lightly saucé. Reserve.
    5. Peel the onions and apples and lightly saucé in the same frying pan around 5 minutes.
    6. Add the partridges and bacon again and bathing with cider and chicken stock and bring to the boil.
    7. Add the sauce, almonds and the other spices.
    8. Heat oven to 180ºC.
    9. Cover the casserole and transfer to the oven for 2 hours or until the partridges are soft.
    10. Remove from the oven and reserve the partridges.
    11. Reduce and thicken the sauce for 5 minuts.
    12. Serve.

    Baked apples


    Ingredients:

    • 6 apples
    • 100g brown sugar
    • 150g raisins
    • 100g butter
    • 100ml cognac


    Directions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
    2. Clean and scoop out the core from top. 
    3. Score the rind of the apple.
    4. Stuff each apple with sugar and butter
    5. Mix the raisins, sugar and cognac.
    6. Place in a shallow baking dish and fill the core well with the mix.
    7. Put a glass of water in the centre dish.
    8. Bake 40 min and serve.

    Sangria



    The famous Sangria is for its delicious taste, because the preparation is a snap.

    Ingredients:

    • 1 litre of red wine
    • Pint of orange juice
    • 2 peaches, 2 oranges, 1 lemon and 1 apple
    • 4 tablespoons sugar.


    (AMOUNTS ARE FOR 5 PEOPLE)

    Preparation:

    1. Mix the sugar with the orange juice.
    2. When well mixed, add the wine.
    3. Next, cut the fruit into small pieces.
    4. Add the fruit and let develop the flavors for 2-3 hours.
